Abstract

Outcome of eclectic psychotherapy conducted in private psychological practice was evaluated. Significant change in target symptoms, global functioning, and life adjustment was found after four months of psychotherapy. The results suggest generalization of improvement rates from highly controlled studies of psychotherapy to psychotherapy as it is practiced in the community.
