Organic electro-optic materials and devices: Molecular engineering driving device performance and technology innovation

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingConference contribution

Abstract

Electro-optic polymers have developed dramatically, with commercially available materials exhibiting EO coefficients > 250pm/V with excellent stability. This has resulted in low voltage (< 1V), ultrahigh bandwidth EO modulators and integration with silicon photonics is emerging.
