Abstract
Mitigation of pressure to the diabetic wound is one of the central areas of focus for any clinician and patient embarking on a course of healing. This manuscript will discuss the positive and negative aspects of several commonly used offloading modalities with the aim of providing the practitioner with information to better assist him or her in patient care.
