Abstract
The Radon transform can be used to reduce two-dimensional or three-dimensional signal-processing problems to a series of one-dimensional problems. We discuss the use of incoherent optical systems and one-dimensional filters for convolutions, correlations, and spectrum analysis in two or three dimensions.
