Abstract

As the third edition of this Handbook exemplifies, remarkable progress has been made over the past few years in the field of organic electronics. In this chapter, we will review some of our recent efforts along three directions: 1. The evaluation of the electronic couplings in organic semiconductors: The electronic coupling is an important parameter that enters the description of charge transport in both the band regime and hopping regime. We will describe recent results on the rubrene single crystal.
