Abstract
This note describes the explicit construction of the 4(k-1)-dimensional moduli space of k-monopoles in center-of-mass coordinates. This space is known to have a natural hyper-Kähler structure. We show how the construction of this hyper-Kähler metric can be reduced to solving a gauge orthogonality condition.
