Abstract

With the continuing diminution of the protective ozone layer, concern about the harmful effects of overexposure to sunlight has been growing. Epidemiological and experimental studies here demonstrated that the increasing incidence of skin diseases in the last two decades is caused by an increase of exposure to solar UVR.
