N2 - Recently the new class of two-dimensional (2D) layered materials with low-symmetry crystal structure has attracted much attention. Their unique electrical characteristics along different in-plane crystal directions provide novel prospects for developing electronic devices. In this paper, we will review the research from our group on studying basic properties of these low-symmetry 2D materials and their device applications.
