Nonlinear surface waves in negative refractive index thin films

Abstract

The effects of a sub-wavelength transition layer of negative index material on surface wave propagation are investigated. Dispersion relations at interfaces of linear and nonlinear dielectrics separated by this transition layer are derived and analyzed.
