Abstract

An exceptionally wide variety of carbonate facies, dominated by high-magnesian calcite, represent the broadest spectrum of carbonate deposits yet reported from any modern lake and serve as important analogues for lacustrine carbonate sequences in the stratigraphic record. -from Authors
