Abstract

We provide a preliminary description of the campaign of infrared spectroscopy of the SL-9 impacts carried out at the Steward Observatory 2.3m telescope. The data include high resolution (R = 3500) measurements of the impact sites, monitoring of auroral emissions, and spectra of two impact fireballs.
