Abstract

In this paper, we prove that any real full-rank congruence transformation applied to a system of RLC interconnect described by MNA or state equations will result in a passive network, and provide an algorithm for multipoint multiport passive model-order reduction of RLC interconnect networks. The algorithm extends the matching points from real s-value to jω and ∞ frequencies, and treats the moment matching for each port individually so that it is more flexible than the block-wise algorithms.
