Abstract

In MS, ion generation and separation have received most of the attention. David W. Koppenaal and colleagues at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, the University of Arizona, Indiana University, and Los Alamos National Laboratory review current MS detector technology and discuss concepts on the horizon that will allow MS to see the forest, the trees, and all the leaves.
