Abstract

Maffucci syndrome consists of a combination of enchondromas and hemangiomas. The most common serious complication of Maffucci syndrome is malignant degeneration of enchondroma to chondrosarcoma, which has been reported in as high as 51% of patients with Maffucci syndrome. In this report, we describe the MR findings in a patient with Maffucci syndrome who presented with chondrosarcoma.
