Abstract
Neurotensin-like immunoreactivity was found in nerve fibers and terminals throughout the corpus striatum of the adult cat. The densest staining was observed in the globus pallidus followed by the caudate nucleus and the putamen. In the caudate nucleus neurotensin-like immunoreactivity had a patchy distribution which was register with a similar pattern of enkephalin-like immunoreactivity.
