Abstract

We report a novel methodology to prepare hierarchical structured Au-Co 3O4 materials composed of Co3O4 nanowires decorated with Au peripheral inclusions. The electrochemical activity of these materials was also demonstrated by fabrication into negative electrodes for rechargeable Li-batteries.
