Abstract

Spontaneous delayed luminescence (biophoton emission) in plant leaves can be correlated with state of health without the need for markers or external stimulation. We present a technique for tracking and monitoring this emission for diagnostic purposes utilizing a high-performance low-noise CCD imaging array with time series analysis of images.
