Abstract

Frequency response and sorption uptake measurements on the molecular mobility of hydrocarbons in ZSM5/silicalites are presented. Intracrystalline diffusion has been established for both n-hexane and benzene in ZSM5/silicalite but the data obtained for ethane and propane suggest that other processes are also involved.
