Abstract
Data on the binary mixing properties of the (Fe,Mg,Ca)3Al2Si3O12 garnets and on the Fe-Mg partitioning between garnet and coexisting phases are reviewed, refined and critically analysed. Implications for certain multicomponent and thermobarometric calculations are discussed. -J.A.Z.
