Abstract
A 42-year-old female presented with a history of hypersomnia associated with her menstrual periods. The menstrual periods abated coincident with the use of metoclopramide. The hypersomnolence, however, did not abate, but rather became more brief and erratic in its periodicity. The hypersomnolence was associated with marked elevations in the serum prolactin level.
