Abstract

The rare decay K_L→e⁺e^-e⁺e^- proceeds via a two-virtual-photon intermediate state with internal photon conversions to e⁺e^- pairs. A measurement of the branching ratio of the rare decay at the Fermilab experiment is reported. In addition, a study of CP symmetry in this decay and the first analysis of a K_Lτ^*τ^* form factor is presented.
