Measurements of the 3–2 Inversion Frequency and Frequency Stability of a Two-Cavity Ammonia Maser

Abstract

The J = 3, K-2 inversion frequency of NH3 was measured using a two-cavity maser system. These measurements provide data on the frequency stability and resetability of the two-cavity maser and an accurate value for the frequency of this transition.
