Abstract

Learning Objectives: After reading this chapter and answering the discussion questions that follow, you should be able to Discuss health and income inequality among the different member countries of the OECD and between OECD as a whole, and the rest of the world. Evaluate MCH issues in OECD countries in relation to structure and financing of health care, health status indicators, service delivery models, and social determinants. Analyze the different ways that maternal and child health services are organized and delivered in OECD member countries.
