Abstract

By integrating high-Verdet polymer-coated magnetic nanoparticles onto high-Q Si3N4 microring resonators, we have successfully demonstrated preliminary proof-of-concept for a magneto-optic (MO) modulator with extinction ratios up to 4.75dB for on-resonance wavelength positions.
