Abstract
Linear spectral reflection and transmission measurements demonstrate a giant enhancement in amplitude and broadening of the reflection spectrum of 30 In.04Ga.96As quantum well with Bragg spacing. A good agreement between the measured reflectivity, which demonstrates the largest ever reported radiative coupling for III-V Bragg structures, and values computed using linear dispersion theory indicates that the radiative coupling can be treated as a constructive interference effect. An expression for the absorption coefficient is derived from the experimental transmission data using Beer's law.
