N1 - Funding Information: IPM Institute staff initiated the project in 2001 with seed funding from the USDA IPM Program and in collaboration with Cornell University. We recruited structural and grounds maintenance IPM professionals from across the U.S. to provide input and review drafts. We then assembled a list of more than 250 IPM practices appropriate for schools, from general administrative practices such as adopting an IPM policy to pest-specific practices such as creating weed maps. Funding Information: IPM STAR for Schools was developed by the IPM Institute and collaborators with funding by the USDA IPM Program, US EPA Pesticide Environmental Stewardship Program and the National Foundation for IPM Education.
