Abstract

In this article, I report on some joint work with Vladimir E. Zakharov. We suggest that inverse cascades of finite flux motion constants can play a central role in the production of intermittency in both optical and hydrodynamic turbulence and that they may also be responsible for building the dipole component of planetary and solar dynamos.
