note = "Funding Information: This issue of Seminars in Oncology Nursing provides a comprehensive and multidisciplinary review of nonmelanoma (basal and squamous cell) cancers, cutaneous malignant melanoma, and cutaneous T-cell lymphoma. Fraser, Hartge, and Tucker review the current etiologic and epidemiologic information along with risk factors related to nonmelanoma and melanoma skin cancers. Although nonmelanoma skin cancers generally have a low mortality rate, their potential for morbidity is great, with possible loss of cosmesis due to destructive and relentless growth. Vargo provides an extensive overview of basal and squamous cell cancers. In contrast, the primary concern with cutaneous malignant melanoma is its ability to metastasize and cause death if not detected and treated early. Lawler{\textquoteright}s article describes the clinical and pathologic course of cutaneous malignant melanoma. Featured in the two latter articles are color prints of nonmelanoma and melanoma skin cancers. We acknowledge the generous educational grant from Cetus Corporation that made the printing of these photographs possible.",
