Abstract

We theoretically study the biexciton-phonon interaction in strongly confined semiconductor quantum dots. For spectrally narrow single-pulse excitation generation of biexcitonic occupations is only possible via a two-photon cascade, which exhibits renormalized Rabi oscillations and spectrally compressed phonon-sidebands.
