Abstract

A thorough understanding of nonlinear matter four wave mixing processes in confined geometries is required when developing integrated, waveguide-based atom optical devices. In such a geometry, counter-propagating two-component Bose-Einstein condensates were aanalyzed based on their stability. The system is studied using steady-state field equations.
