Influence of Excitonic Correlations on the High Harmonic Generation in Monolayer TMDCs

Abstract

Fully microscopic many-body models are used to show that excitonic correlations dramatically enhance the high harmonic generation in monolayer MoS2. Especially near the bandgap the enhancement can be two orders of magnitude or more.
