Influence of bFGF on the proliferation of hypoxia cultured endothelial cell

Research output: Contribution to journal › Article › peer-review

Abstract

Objective: To investigate the influence of bFGF on the proliferation of hypoxia culture indothelial cells, and explore the mechanism of bFGF promoting revascilarization under hypoxia. Methods: When cell reached 70%-80% confluence, then added bFGF and was cultured in hyproxia. Flow cybometry was performed to analyse the effect of bFGF on cell cycle. Results: We found that bFGF could improve the PI value and SPF value of hyproxic cultured endothelial cells by flow cybometry analysis. Conclusion: bFGF can reverse the effect of hypoxia on the proliferation capacity of endothelial cells and make an increasment to SPF value and PI value.
