In vivo measurement of pH in tumor and surrounding tissue using fluorescence ratio imaging

Abstract

SNARF-1, a pH-sensitive fluorescent probe, was used to perform fluorescence ratio imaging in tumor and surrounding tissue. A pH resolution of 0.042 pH units was achieved. pH gradients extending into the peritumoral region were observed.
