Abstract

In the present study, levamisole hydrochloride is evaluated in prostatic cancer in an effort to determine its anti-anergic properties and antitumor potential. It has shown that it is capable of in vitro stimulation of leukocytes by increasing LAI reactivity. It has also proven to have inhibitory effect on tumor growth in animal models and it has no apparent side effects when administered to humans.
