Abstract
The present study investigates the extent to which husbands and wives agree on their responses to survey items designed to measure Objective‐Actual, Subjec tive‐Actual, and Subjective‐Relative indicators of economic well‐being. An Urban/Growth sample and Rural/Recession sample were included. Results indi cate that correlations varied considerably across indicators and across samples. However, few significant differences were found. 1987 American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences
