Abstract

Humoral immunity has seemed an unyielding obstacle to the success of organ xenotransplantation. Tolerance and accommodation could provide the tools to overcome this hurdle. This article reviews new insights and strategies for achieving tolerance and accommodation for xenotransplantation.
