Abstract

In a convergent field theory rescattering graphs lead to neutral-current effects of the observed magnitude if the effective cut-off momentum is ∼G- 1 2 ≈ 300 GeV. A perturbation expansion is justified owing to the value f=0.18 of the resulting expansion parameter.
