High-speed compressive video via temporal-coding illumination

Abstract

We describe video snapshot compressive imaging using infrared LED illumination. In baseball pitch tracking experiments, we demonstrate 16x improvement in temporal sampling rate. Infrared modulation enables coded illumination without affecting visible image quality.
