Abstract

Helicobacter species have been noted to cause infection in immunosuppressed patients and, with increasing frequency, in immunocompetent persons. We describe the first reported case of Helicobacter vertebral osteomyelitis, provisionally identified as H cinaedi, which occurred in an immunocompetent person.
