Abstract

The decay K_L → π⁰e⁺e^-γ was observed for the first time. The measured value of the branching ratio of this decay showed good agreement with recent O(p⁶) calculations in chiral perturbation theory (CHPT). This data was also used to measure the parameter a_V.
