Abstract
The paper considers the experimentation aspects of the objectives-driven modelling methodology in the context of distributed simulation. A concept of expressing modelling objectives through the notion of a experimental frame is discussed. A top-down frame decomposition methodology is proposed. Such a methodology results in an abstract distributed simulator architecture that directly implements the principle of model/experimental frame separation.
