Abstract

The experimental results of a laser-boresighting algorithm study are discussed. Several centroid-finding algorithms are applied to a fixed set of laser spot data. The results are tabulated and compared to determine which algorithm contains the least variance in laser spot center location while maintaining accuracy. The probability of error (error budget) for each algorithm is also compared.
