Abstract
A series of molecules consisting of conjugated segments and separated by nonconjugation bridges was studied. Exited state localization effects were studied and electron-hole two-particle wave functions for prominent excited states were computed. The results proved useful in determining the nature of lowest excited state in the multichromophoric systems.
