Abstract
The simplest model demonstrated that the time required for resistance to evolve can be independent of generation time, but interactions of generation time with genetic, biological, and operational factors resulted in positive, negative, and U-shaped relationships between the number of generations per year and the time required for resistance to evolve. Results preclude any generalizations concerning the influence of generation time on resistance evolution. -from Authors
