Abstract

The paper 'The frequency of very young galaxies in the local Universe: II. The view from SDSS spectra' was published in Mon. Not. R. Astron. Soc. 492, 1791 (2020). The caption of Table A1 incorrectly stated that Table A1 was restricted to candidate very young galaxies. In fact, Table A1 lists all galaxies in the Clean sample. So the caption should instead be 'Clean sample of 404 931 galaxies'. Similarly, the last paragraph of Section 5 should be 'An electronic table of the Clean sample of 404 931 galaxies is provided in electronic form, with the top 10 lines shown in Table A1.' This paper has been typeset from a T_EX/LAT_EX file prepared by the author.
