Abstract

In Yu et al. (2021), we missed the heliocentric and air-to-vacuum wavelength correction for the observed quasar spectrum. Both mistakes introduce systematic errors in the reduced wavelength at the interested wavelength region, e.g. −(0.24 − 0.47) and (1.90 − 2.47) Å, respectively. After refitting the corrected spectrum, we notice that such correction does not change our major conclusions, but the redshifts of identified C IV and Si IV absorbers are generally larger (δz ∼ 0.0009) than those reported in Yu et al. (2021). (Table Presented).
