Abstract

Due to a model compilation issue, all cases in the suite of simulations with consistently varying rotation rate with equilibrium temperature in the published article had a rotation period equal to that in the Teq = 500 K case. This affects the “Consistent O” line in Figures 7, 9, and 10, and the temperature and wind maps in Figure 8 of the published article. We have conducted additional simulations now correctly varying rotation period with equilibrium temperature, with all other parameters the same as in the published article. The revised Figures 7–10 are included here. These changes have no impact on the results from our main grid of simulations with varying Teq and tdrag and do not significantly impact our conclusions.(Figure presented).
