Entanglement-based distributed quantum sensing enhanced by quantum relays

Abstract

We show that noiseless linear amplifiers can serve as quantum relays to overcome entanglement distribution loss for entangled quantum sensors to outperform sensors supplied with the optimum local quantum resources.
