Abstract

Second-harmonic generation in chromophore doped hybrid sol-gel is investigated. Blue light assisted corona poling is applied to hybrid sol-gel doped with Disperse Red 13 around the glass transition temperature. As a result a threefold enhancement in second-order nonlinear optical coefficient has been achieved.
