Abstract
Jonathan Bean from Bucknell University states how efforts are being made to address charging-related problems of electric vehicles. Plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) owners like to charge their cars to full capacity at regular intervals. Problems arise when a large number of people and such vehicles crowd inadequate number of charging stations to charge their vehicles. More specifically, there are too many cars with full batteries parked at chargers that could be used to charge other cars. Jonathan Bean suggests that governments need to provide easy charging solutions to encourage people buy such hybrid electric cars.
